July Wine Tasting
Un, deux, trois … soleil! Summer is here and it's time for a wine tour of the South of France, focusing on the style this
region is known for: rosé! Our second class in this wine tasting series will look at wines grown near the Mediterranean, with IGP, VDP and
AOCs from Provence, Languedoc and Roussillon. We will taste three remarkable rosé wines as well as a couple of earthy
reds and a crisp white. You will learn how rosé is made, why they are so popular, market trends and how to avoid
mass-produced plonk. We will also explore the geography, climate, key grape varieties and appellation. There will be
regional food parings in this class, too!
Class will be held on Thursday, July 13th at 6:30pm at 571 Galapago.
Make sure you reserve your tickets early as the space is limited to 27 people. In English. Santé!
