Fire of Love
We are delighted to invite 50 guests to a private advance screening of the Sundance Film Festival 2022 award-winning film, Fire of Love, the extraordinary love story of intrepid French scientists Katia and Maurice Krafft, who died just as explosively as they lived — capturing the most spectacular imagery ever recorded of their greatest passion: volcanoes. Much of the dialogue is in French, subtitled in English, so it will have special appeal to Francophones or learners of French. Visit the trailer: https://films.nationalgeographic.com/fire-of-love.
This special opportunity comes from the Oscar®-winning and record-breaking studios, National Geographic Documentary Films (Free
Solo, The Rescue, The Cave)
and NEON (Parasite,
Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Apollo 11, Three Identical Strangers).
Tickets are limited to 50 AFD members. This event is free, but donations are always
appreciated (click here to donate).
